Assignments 11 & 12
For Assignments 11 & 12, you will need to set up a LinkedIn account [Assignment 12]. I realize that many of you may already have an account; others may not. You should sign up and begin completing information in order to get your profile and account as complete as possible. You must figure out what components are missing from making your profile “complete.” Can you get to a 100% complete profile? You must get to at least a 70% complete profile to receive credit for this assignment.
In addition, send me an invite.
For part two [Assignment 12], you must edit the page at http://blogs.etown.edu/com315/index.php/student-accounts/linkedin-accounts/ so that your name [and your name only] is a link to your LinkedIn account home page. This may take some investigating in order to figure out your link. For reference, mine is http://www.linkedin.com/in/colinhelb not http://www.linkedin.com/myprofile?trk=hb_pro.
Please complete Assignment 11 [signing up] and Assignment 12 [editing the "LinkedIn Accounts" page] by Friday, April 9, 2010, at noon. You may take the weekend “completing” your profile. We will discuss them in class on Monday.
